Ingredients

  • 1 medium lobster tail
  • 1/2 pound butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons parsley flakes

How To Make lobster tail at home

  • Step 1
    Place lobster tail - hard side shell up on cutting board or in pan. Cut directly down the middle of the shell, leaving 1 inch uncut.
  • Step 2
    Loosen meat from the shell. Pull the meat up on top of the shell leaving meat attached to end of tail on bottom 1 inch you left uncut.
  • Step 3
    Slash the meat of the lobster tail crossways about 1/2 way in 6 times - evenly down exposed tail.
  • Step 4
    Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees, basting with melted butter every 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve with drawn butter
