These are a great lunch for kids, or as an after school snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey, or lean ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded, mexican cheese blend

How To Make school lunch taco roll-ups

  • Step 1
    In skillet, over med-high heat, brown turkey. Add taco seasoning mix and water. Cook until thickened.
  • Step 2
    Roll bread dough on floured surface, into a rectangle. Spread turkey mix over dough. Roll up, starting w/ long end. Pinch seam to seal.
  • Step 3
    Slice into 1"-thick rolls. Lightly spray a baking sheet w/ cooking spray. Place rolls on baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 25 mins. Serve w/ salsa or sour cream.
