My deceased husbands grandmother made this recipe up. she was in her 90's when she died. She and her husband killed hogs every winter and had lots of pork fat back .. So she found many ways to make dishes of of it. This is one of them ..Only my husband had the recipe. I make it often now with garlic breas as it is so unusual.. Buter delicious.

Ingredients For sweet spaghetti
1/2 lbsalted pork fat
1 mdonion chopped up
1 cantomatoe juice 32 ounces
1/2 boxthin spaghetti un cooked
1/3 csugar ( can add little more go by taste )
How To Make sweet spaghetti
1First get a large skillet, chopped up pork fat in small pieces and brown real good crispy.add onion into this and brown it with the pork fat. Then add the whole can of tomatoe juice to skillet. Let it get to boiling then add your spaghetti to that stir real good to separate all the spaghetti sprinkle the sugar all over the top and cover with a lid.turn down the heat and simmer until spaghetti is done about 15 mins.. stir real good and it is ready serve with garlic bread and a salad and it is delicious.....
