Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/4 lb
    ground pork
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    soft bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp
    minced onion
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    tabasco pepper sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    allspice or nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    light cream

How to Make SWEDISH MEATBALLS

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix first 9 ingredients together in a bowl. Shape into small balls. Brown meatballs in skillet and remove. Add flour to drippings. Stir to a smooth paste. Add water and cream and cook stirring until thickened. Return meatballs to skillet. Heat to serving temperature. Makes 6 servings.
