Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 pound ground pork
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice or nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup light cream

How To Make swedish meatballs

  • Step 1
    Mix first 9 ingredients together in a bowl. Shape into small balls. Brown meatballs in skillet and remove. Add flour to drippings. Stir to a smooth paste. Add water and cream and cook stirring until thickened. Return meatballs to skillet. Heat to serving temperature. Makes 6 servings.
