Ingredients
- 2 - 12 oz pkgs chorizo sausage, casings removed
- 2 cans black beans rinsed and drained
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 1-3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1-1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- - sour cream, i used light
How To Make spicy black bean chili

Step 1In lg skillet, over med-high heat, cook sausages, crumbling as you cook until browned. In bowl, mash 1 can of black beans w/a fork.

Step 2In a 4-quart slow-cooker, combine sausage, mashed beans, canned beans, onion, celery, carrot, broth, oregano, lemon juice, pepper and garlic.

Step 3Cover, cook on low for 4 hrs. Serve w/ sour cream. This is great w/ corn bread!
