Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    pork tenderloin cut in chunks
  • 3 large
    oinions sliced
  • 1 lb
    sliced mushrooms (your choice)
  • 1 can(s)
    french style green beans
  • 5
    carrots sliced
  • 2
    jalapeno peppers seeded and diced fine
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1 jar(s)
    bertolli vodka sauce
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    wild rice, cooked

How to Make Pork Basile

Step-by-Step

  1. Cube the pork and brown in a large Dutch oven with salt, pepper bay leaf. I use olive oil and about 3 tablespoons of butter
  2. then add, sliced onions, carrots, green beans (drained) mushrooms and jalapeno. Sautee for about 15 minutes
  3. Add Bertolli Vodka sauce stir. Add heavy cream. Taste for seasoning. Add more if needed. Let simmer for 3 hours or until pork is fork tender serve with brown rice and a hot roll
