One night I had a taste for steak au poivre,I didn't have any mushrooms or brandy.this is now one of my wife's favorets. 1/28/14

Ingredients
- 2 pounds tenderloin or pork cut in 1/2 in. medallions
- 2 tablespoons cracked black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese
How To Make pepper steak with gorgonzola cream sauce

Step 1Lightly coat steak medallions with pepper.

Step 2Saute tenderloin to med. rare with the garlic.

Step 3Set the tenderloin on the side.

Step 4Then deglaze the pan with the white wine, add the heavy cream, dijon,and gorgonzola cheese and reduce by half.

Step 5When the sauce is done place the medallions on the plate and pour a generous portion of the sauce over the medallions.

Step 6Serve with orzo and asparagus.MMMMMMM!!!
