pasta and ham bake
This makes for an easy Sunday dinner. I always use left over ham, but you can use thickly sliced deli ham.

Ingredients
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 - red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 - red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 - 14 oz can chopped tomatoes
- 9 ounces diced ham
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup bread crumbs, i used italian-style
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
How To Make pasta and ham bake

Step 1Cook pasta as directed, drain. Heat oven to 400. Spray a 2-quart casserole dish w/ cooking spray. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and red bell pepper. Cook, stirring for 5 mins.

Step 2Add tomatoes, ham, broth,and oregano. Bring to boil. Simmer for 3 mins. Remove from heat. Stir in macaroni. Season w/ salt and pepper.

Step 3Spoon into baking dish. In small bowl, combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and butter. Sprinkle bread crumbs over casserole. Place casserole dish on a baking sheet. Bake 20 mins, or until bubbly.
