yellow onions, finely chopped
1/4 c
green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 medium
apple, finely chopped

eggs
1 lb
ground beef, lean
1/2 lb
sausage, hot
1 Tbsp
horseradish
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
dry mustard
1/4 c
milk
1/4 c
ketchup

How to Make MOTHER'S MEATLOAF RECIPE

Step-by-Step

  • 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.
  • 2IN LARGE BOWL, BEAT EGGS.
  • 3LIGHTLY MIX IN GROUND BEEF AND SAUSAGE.
  • 4THEN ADD CRUMBS, ONIONS, GREEN PEPPER AND APPLE. TOGETHER WITH HORSERADISH, SALT, MUSTARD, MILK AND KETCHUP.
  • 5MIX AND THEN SHAPE INTO AN OVAL LOAF. SPREAD TOP WITH KETCHUP [APPROXIMATELY 1/2 CUP].
  • 6BAKE AT 400 DEGREES FOR 50 MINUTES.
