Everyone LOVES this, it was my grandmother's recipe.
My Mom always serves with mashed potatoes, string beans and applesauce

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1+ lb
    pork chops, center cut
  • 1-2 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes, italian-style
  • 1/2-1
    onions
  • 1-2
    green peppers
  • to dredge
    flour
  • to taste
    salt and pepper

How to Make Mom's Slow Cooked Pork Chops

Step-by-Step

  1. dredge the pork chops in s&p & flour
  2. brown on both sides
  3. put in crockpot or dutch oven
  4. saute sliced onions & green peppers til soft, add to crockpot/Dutch oven
  5. Cover pork chops with the stewed tomatoes. Cover with lid.
  6. Dutch Oven: bring to a boil, then simmer for 4+ hours, until falls off the bone
  7. Crock Pot: cook low for 4+ hours, until falls off the bone
