Ingredients
- 4 - 1"-thick bone-in pork chops
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 - onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 - 12 oz jar peach preserves
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon chinese five spice powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- - cornstarch, to thicken
- 2 - lg peaches, sliced thin
- - rice
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
How To Make glazed pork chops w/ peaches

Step 1Season pork w/ salt and pepper. In lg skillet, heat oil over med-high heat. Cook chops 3 mins per side. Remove chops from pan.

Step 2Add butter and onion to pan. Cook, stirring for 3 mins. Add garlic, cook 1 min. Add preserves, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, red pepper flakes, five spice powder and ginger.

Step 3Put chops back in pan. Turn to coat, cover, simmer 15 mins. Remove chops to platter. Dissolve 1 tbsp cornstarch in 1/4 cup cold water, whisk well. Whisk into pan w/ sauce until thickened. Drizzle sauce over chops. Garnish w/ peach slices. Serve w/ rice.
