Took the ribs out last night, went to donate blood, came home, seasoned, sealed in a pan, cooked from 3:30 until 6:30. The end results...OUTSTANDING!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 - rack of baby back lion ribs
  • - longhorn grill seasonings
  • - grill mates molasses bacon seasonings
  • - cumin
  • - paprika, sweet mild
  • - emeril essence
  • - a-1 sweet mesquite bbq rub
  • - sylvia ' s great green season
  • - liquid smoke
  • - tony chachere creole seasoning
  • - accent optional
  • 1 / 2 cups brown sugar+ drippings for glaze

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Step 2
    Combine all dry ingredients into a rub and be generous on both sides. I lined a heavy bottom pan with heavy duty foil, placed the ribs in with 1/2 CUP of water and baked 3 hours. Make sure you have a tight seal.
  • Step 3
    The last 20 minutes I put a chunk of brown sugar in with a 1/2 CUP of the drippings, pour over the ribs and broiled on high 15 minutes until crispy.
