all gone baked pork steaks,with fresh herbs

This is a simple easy recipe.Its starting to heat up here,so I like to start cooking in the morning when I use the oven. Made this yesterday and Used what I had on hand, pork steak ( two 1 1/2 inch pork steak bone was in,four small sized yellow potatoes,sprig of rosemary,fresh globe basil or thi basil,1 bay leaf)Did not take a picture of it this time,cause it was all gone by the time I thought of it! You could spice it anyway you want or like.

Ingredients

  • 2 - 1 1/2 inch pork steaks with bone(i used serloin pork steaks from local market)
  • 4 - small yellow potatoes sliced about 1./4 inch
  • 1 - sliced thinly onion small size
  • 1 - rosemary sprigs
  • 1 - sprig of globe basil or thi basil
  • 1 - pinch salt
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • 1 - cup water
  • 1 - pinch garlic powder
  • 1 - tsp olive
  • 9 INCH ROUND BAKING DISH

How To Make all gone baked pork steaks,with fresh herbs

  • Step 1
    grease bottom of baking dish with oil
  • Step 2
    layer first with sliced potatoes,then onions,pinch of salt and garlic powder add rosemary sprig on top
  • Step 3
    place pork steaks on top add globe basil to top in pieces, pour 1 cup of water in dish and 1 bay leaf in the water
  • Step 4
    cover with heavy duty foil bake at 325 for 3 hours till fork tender
  • Step 5
    serve with a side of fresh green beans and Enjoy!
