Ingredients For turkey n roastd pepper bolognese

  • 1 lb
    choppd turkey
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 3 slice
    bacon, choppd
  • 2
    carrots, shredded or finely choppd
  • 1 stalk
    celery, finely choppd
  • 1 md
    onion, choppd
  • 3 clove
    garlic, finely choppd or grated (i used roastd garlic)
  • 1/2 c
    roastd pepper, roughly choppd (if i had more i would have thrown it in)
  • 3/4 c
    white wine
  • 1
    beef bullion cube
  • 1 can
    tomato sauce. 29 oz
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes, 14.5 oz can
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried tyhme
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, choppd
  • 1/2 c
    half n half (milk ok)
  • 1 lb
    pasta, cookd (i used rigatoni)
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese
  • salt n pepper to taste

How To Make turkey n roastd pepper bolognese

    IN A LARGE POT/PAN COOK CHOPPD BACON IN OLIVE OIL, JUST SHY OF CRISPY. REMOVE BACON N SET ASIDE.

    ADD CARROTS, CELERY, N ONION TO BACON GREASE N COOK TILL VEGGIES R TENDER....THEN ADD CHOPPD TURKEY N COOK FOR FIVE MINUTE...STIR OCCASIONALLY.

    ADD CHOPPD ROASTED PEPPERS N CHOPPD GARLIC N COMBINE N COOK FOR A FEW MINUTES.

    ADD BEEF BULLION CUBE N WHITE WINE N LET WINE REDUCE SLIGHTLY...THEN ADD COOKD BACON N PARSLEY THEN MIX TO COMBINE.

    ADD TOMATO SAUCE, DICED TOMATOES, OREGANO N THYME. STIR N BRING TO A BOIL N THEN SIMMER FOR 45 MINUTES. SLOWLY ADD HALF N HALF N ADD PARM CHEESE.
