Ingredients
- 16 ounces spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 2 tablespoons oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon basil
How To Make spaghetti and meat sauce

Step 1Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until tender.

Step 2Add mushrooms and cook an additional 2 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 3In same skillet brown the ground beef.

Step 4Add the tomato sauce and onion mixture. Add the spices. Stir to mix well.

Step 5Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 6While sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.

Step 7Serve the sauce over the spaghetti.
