Ingredients For peppered pasta

  • 16 ounce pkg
    pasta of choice
  • 2 slice
    thinly sliced leeks (white part only)
  • 1/2 c. box
    vegetable broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    drained capers
  • 1/3 c
    chopped fresh basil

How To Make peppered pasta

  • 1
    Put a large pot of water on to boil. When it's boiling, drop in pasta and cook according to pkg. directions.

    Place 1/2 c. vegetable broth in a saucepan with the leeks. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes and then add the remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.

    Drain pasta and place in a bowl. Pour the sauce over the pasta and mix well. Serve at once.
