16 ounce pkgpasta of choice
2 slicethinly sliced leeks (white part only)
1/2 c. boxvegetable broth
1 Tbspdrained capers
1/3 cchopped fresh basil
How to Make Peppered Pasta
- Put a large pot of water on to boil. When it's boiling, drop in pasta and cook according to pkg. directions.
- Place 1/2 c. vegetable broth in a saucepan with the leeks.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes and then add the remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
- Drain pasta and place in a bowl. Pour the sauce over the pasta and mix well. Serve at once.
- season to taste
