I got this recipe from a family I babysat for. The kids weren't too crazy about meat unless it was hamburgers, but they LOVED this. I added the fresh mushrooms and parmesan cheese in the casserole. Everyone I have ever cooked this for has loved it and it is often requested at potlucks. Enjoy and let me know what you think

Ingredients
- - 1 pound lean ground meat 93%
- 8 ounces mostaccoli
- - one medium onion chopped
- - one medium green bell pepper chopped
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- - olive oil for sauteing
- 8 ounces mushrooms chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese plus more sprinkled on top
How To Make mostacolli

Step 1brown your ground meat with the table spoon of tomato paste and cook pasta

Step 2saute your garlic in the oil, add veggies

Step 3mix the soup and tomato sauce then add to meat

Step 4combine the meat and veggies

Step 5in a casserole dish combine the meat, pasta and veggies

Step 6stir in the sauce and soup mixture and the cheese

Step 7top with more cheese and bake at 400 for 30-45 minutes until pasta is a golden brown. (my mom liked it cooked until the pasta around the edges was crunchy)
