macaroni with olive sauce

If you like garlic and olives, then you'll like this. It's quick and easy to fix. Great with a salad and crusty bread. I adapted this from a recipe in Pasta Cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound macaroni, i used elbows
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups green, kalamata, and/or black olives, large chop
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make macaroni with olive sauce

  • Step 1
    Cook macaroni according to package directions.
  • Step 2
    While macaroni is cooking, melt butter in a saucepan.
  • Step 3
    Add garlic and olives. Cook 1 minute, reduce heat and keep warm until macaroni is done.
  • Step 4
    Drain macaroni, place in a serving dish. Pour sauce over pasta, season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and serve.
