~ grams macaroni & cream ~
My Gram used to serve this as a side dish...I made it more of a full meal with the addition of chicken. For some reason, she would always serve this with braised steak. It's similar to a macaroni and cheese, with a nice tang, from the cheddar and sour cream.. My kids love it! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni, cooked according to box instructions
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups sharp, cheddar cheese - shredded
- 1 teaspoon each - salt & pepper or to taste
- 1 tablespoon both - dry minced onion & dried parsley
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, cubed - optional
- 2 1/2 cups sour cream
- paprika - for garnish
How To Make ~ grams macaroni & cream ~

Step 1Cook macaroni and drain.

Step 2Add macaroni to a large bowl and stir in cheese, salt and pepper, chicken if adding.

Step 3Stir in sour cream, onion and parsley. Grease an 11 x 7 baking dish and spread mixture evenly into dish.

Step 4Sprinkle with paprika and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 - 35 minutes.

Step 5Serve as a side to meat entree or as I did, with adding chicken. Note: for reheating, I add a little milk, as with any pasta, it will absorb the liquids. I've also added a little extra sour cream.
