Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp cooked and deveined(see directions below for cooking shrimp)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 7 tablespoons evoo
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano or 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 3 tablespoons cilantro chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
  • 2 cups red cherry tomatos halved
  • 2 cups yellow cherry tomatoes halved
  • 4 ounces capers
  • - bread crumbs(progresso)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 1/4 cups grated pecorrino romano

How To Make fra diavolo

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375*F
  • Step 2
    Butter a 13x9x2 baking dish and place halved tomatoes, capers, 3TBL. of olive oil, salt and pepper and toss well.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top. Drizzle with olive oil and bake 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes
  • Step 4
    Toss shrimp in a bowl with salt and red pepper flakes. Heat 3 Tbl. oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Saute shrimp for about 1 minute.
  • Step 5
    Remove the shrimp add another 1 to 2 Tbl. oil and saute onion. Add wine, garlic and oregano. Add the baked tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Add shrimp, basil and parsley and stir to coat.
  • Step 7
    Cook the pasta al dente according to the package directions. Drain. Add to skillet and toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese an serve.
