Something I came up with just fooling around with a few ingredients! I love this recipe, it can be used as a dip with crusty bread rounds, or crackers, or as a great side dish, or like I did as a main dish with added pasta!!! Great flavors and one healthy dish!!! ENJOY!!

Ingredients For fire creamed kale dish

  • 1 lg
    bunch fresh kale, chopped small
  • 2 pinch
    red pepper flakes
  • 1 md
    chopped onion
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 can
    fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    heavy cream
  • olive oil

How To Make fire creamed kale dish

    Blanch kale for 2 minutes in salted water. Drain In a saute pan add olive oil, onion and red pepper flakes, cook till softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute.

    add fire roasted tomatoes and cook down for five minutes. Add kale and cook down for another few minutes to soften and marry flavors. When ingredients start to bubble add cream and parmesan. Bring back to bubble and turn heat down to a simmer.

    Simmer for 15min till ingredients come together and thicken. Check for seasoning, adding salt or more red pepper if You can handle hotter. Place in bowl and serve with bread rounds or crackers for dipping.

    For a main dish add cooked pasta in the warm pan and stir together for 5mins. Enjoy!! Also a great side dish.
