After many requests from my kids...I made them one of their favorite pasta dishes...bacon, chicken or even pork could be added to this simple pasta dish, to make a more complete meal...my kids like it as is...

enjoy!

How to Make Creamy Broccoli Linguine Alfredo - Cass's

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil your pasta, drain
  2. While Pasta is cooking, add butter and oil to a large skillet. Saute the broccoli, onions, garlic and mushrooms, just until tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the cream once veggies are tender. Simmer for a few minutes or until the cream starts to thicken some.
  4. Add the cheeses, salt, pepper and fresh parsley if using. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.
  5. Drain linguine and toss with sauce. I don't rinse pasta, so the sauce adheres a bit better.
  6. Serve immediately. Sprinkle with some parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.

I served with a tossed salad and some crusty Italian bread.
