How To Make creamy broccoli linguine alfredo - cass's
-
Step 1Boil your pasta, drain
-
Step 2While Pasta is cooking, add butter and oil to a large skillet. Saute the broccoli, onions, garlic and mushrooms, just until tender, stirring occasionally.
-
Step 3Add the cream once veggies are tender. Simmer for a few minutes or until the cream starts to thicken some.
-
Step 4Add the cheeses, salt, pepper and fresh parsley if using. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.
-
Step 5Drain linguine and toss with sauce. I don't rinse pasta, so the sauce adheres a bit better.
-
Step 6Serve immediately. Sprinkle with some parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. I served with a tossed salad and some crusty Italian bread.
