Had a busy day today, so I whipped this together at noon...was able to get everything else on my plate done, while the crock did its magic...the whole house smelled absolutely wonderful...as always...was delish!...enjoy!
1In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, onion, seasonings, pepperoni and garlic in a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat.
Cook until meat is no longer pink. Drain grease.
2Return the meat mixture to the skillet, add sauce. Simmer till heated through.
3Spray your crock liner with nonstick cooking spray.
4In a bowl, mix the cheeses and parsley.
5Ladle about 1/4 of the meat sauce on the bottom of a greased 5 quart crock pot. Next place 2 lasagna noodled horizontally over the sauce , I then broke one in half to fill in both ends. I try to make sure there are no spaces. Next spread about 1/3 of cheese mixture over the noodles.
6Now make 2 more layers of sauce, noodles and cheese; in that order. Ending with last 1/4 or more of sauce.
* I use all the noodles
I then sprinkled some extra mozzarella on the final layer of sauce.
7Place the lid on the crock. Cook for 1 hour on High, then turn pot to low, and cook another 3 - 4 hours or until noodles are tender.
