Ingredients
- 16 ounces elbow macaroni
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 7 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups light cream
- 3 cups milk, i used 1%
- 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
- 8 ounces shredded mexican-style cheese
- 3 tablespoons chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 6 slices cooked smoky bacon, cut into 1" slices
How To Make bacon ma-n-cheese w/ chipotle

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a lg casserole dish w/ cooking spray. Cook macaroni as directed and drain well.

Step 2In lg saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour, stir and cook 1 mins. Whisk in cream and milk, salt, pepper, chipotle peppers, mustard and 1/2 the cheese.Cook, stirring for 5 mins.

Step 3Pour sauce over macaroni. Stir in bacon and remaining cheese. Mix well. Spoon into casserole dish and bake 45 mins, or until very bubbly.
