My bff created this recipe, because they don't really care for pasta. One taste, and you'll be hooked!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef, browned
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 jars spaghetti sauce
- 1 package spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 can ro-tel tomatoes
- 2 - tubs cottage cheese, small curd
- 6 cups shredded cheese
- 4 - eggs
- 1 package italian seasoning (dressing mix)
- 4 cups cooked and drained rice
How To Make rice lasagna

Step 1Brown the beef and onion. Drain all fat.

Step 2Add sauce, mix-package,and Ro-Tel. (Rinse the jars with a little water & add the sauce mix into the jar. Shake well to combine with the sauce left in the jar & add to the beef.)

Step 3In another bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, and 4 cups of cheese. Divide into thirds.

Step 4Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of your favorite lasagna pan.

Step 5Divide the rice into 3 equal portions. Spread 1/3 of the rice over the thin starter layer.

Step 6Spread 1/3 of cheese mixture over rice.

Step 7Spread 1/3 of meat sauce mixture over cheese layer.

Step 8Repeat twice more, for a total of 9 layers, ending with meat sauce layer.

Step 9Sprinkle remaining shred cheese over top, and bake at 350 until hot, browned and bubbly.
