Ingredients
- 1 large onion,chopped
- 1 - clove garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon reduced-calorie margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried whole basil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried whole oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried whole thyme
- 16 ounces tomatoes, canned whole, undrained chopped
- 8 ounces canned kidney beans
How To Make quick country chili

Step 1saute onion and garlic in margarine in a large sauce pan until tender.

Step 2Add salt, basil, chili powder, oregano, thyme, and pepper, stirring well.

Step 3Stir in tomatoes and beans. bring to a simmer, uncovered, cook 10 to 15 minutes. serve hot with your favorite cracker or cornbread
