Ingredients
- 2 cups dried pinto beans
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves fresh garlic.chopped
- 1 1/2 pounds linguesa, sliced
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cloves
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 - green bell pepper chopped
- PORTUGUESE PINTO BEANS
How To Make portuguese pinto beans

Step 1Soak beans overnight or bring to a boil then let stand 1 hour.

Step 2Cook until tender.

Step 3Brown onion and garlic in oil. Add linguesa and brown lightly.

Step 4Add tomato sauce, cloves, chill powder, salt and pepper. Add the ingredience to beans.

Step 5Cook for 30 mins. longer until done.
