This is a healthy vegetarian main dish or a tasty side. It is simple to prepare, because you just toss all the ingredients in a rice cooker and let it do all the work. :-) This recipe's nutty nutty flavor is addictive: you start with one serving and suddenly the whole pot is gone.

Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 cup fresh kale, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (can be black for color contrast)
- 3 tablespoons parmigiano-reggiano, grated (optional)
- - salt and/or pepper to taste
How To Make kale quinoa

Step 1Place all ingredients except cheese into the rice cooker.

Step 2Turn on rice cooker, and let it do its magic. (I used a microwaveable rice cooker.)

Step 3If you like, you can top with grated cheese. Enjoy!
