Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 8 ounces bulk pork sausage cooked
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make cornmeal scrapple

Step 1combine cornmeal, milk,sugar, and salt. Gradually stir into 2 3/4 cups boiling water; cook and stir till thick. Cook, covered, over low heat 10 to 15 minutes. finally crumble sausage; add to cornmeal mixture, pour into7 1/2-3 3/4- 2 1/4inch loaf pan . cover and chill. at least 1 hr. then, cut scrapple into 1/2 inch slices; dip in flour. fry slowly in butter for 15 to 20 minutes. serve
