broccoli salad
I love to make this salad with grilled meats,it just seems to go together.This is a crunchy,colorful salad that's very versatile,you can add or take away any ingredient you like.My niece picks out the water chestnuts every time! Sometimes I use jicama instead of water chestnuts. I also add a handful of fresh parsley just before serving.I think parsley gets a bad rap,I love it and try to use it often.

Ingredients
- - 5 c broccoli,chopped into small florets
- - 2 c cauliflower,chopped into small florets
- - 2 c cherry tomatoes,halved
- - 2 c english cucumbers,chopped small
- - 12 oz water chestnuts
- - 1/2 c red bell pepper,chopped small
- - 1 c small black olives
- - 1 c carrots,chopped small
- - 1/4 c red onion,minced
- - ranch dressing
How To Make broccoli salad

Step 1Toss all of the vegetables in a large salad bowl.

Step 2Pour enough dressing to coat the ingredients.

Step 3Mix well.

Step 4Chill at least an hour.
