Ingredients
- 4 - salmon steaks
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 3-4 sprigs fresh terragon, dill or thyme
- 1 - lemon, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- - mayonnaise or hollandaise
How To Make salmon steaks in cider

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter a shallow casserole dish with a tight-fitting lid (or use foil to make a tight seal).

Step 2Place salmon steaks in casserole dish and spread with butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Place a sprig of herb on top of each steak and cover with 2 slices of lemon.

Step 3Heat cider and pour into the bottom of the casserole dish; cover tightly. Bake about 25 to 30 minutes until the salmon flakes easily. Serve with pan juices and either mayonnaise or Hollandaise sauce.
