    salmon (6 oz)
  • 1 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 2
    eggs beaten
  • 3 Tbsp
    heaping mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 pinch
    emeril's essence (recipe below)
  • 5
    shakes of dill
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh basil chopped

How to Make Salmon Patties

  1. Mix all ingredients together except the vegetable oil. Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly to your preference. Chill for 30 minutes in refrigerator to allow flavors to combine.
  2. Form mixture into about 6 patties. Heat vegetable oil and fry the salmon patties until golden brown. About 4 minutes each side. As a note, I have used cooked salmon in lieu of canned salmon and it came out great! Make your own tartar sauce or garlic aoli and serve away!
  3. Emeril's Essence Recipe from Food Network: Ingredients
    2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
    2 tablespoons salt
    2 tablespoons garlic powder
    1 tablespoon black pepper
    1 tablespoon onion powder
    1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
    1 tablespoon dried oregano
    1 tablespoon dried thyme

Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Put in a jar and use it for many things!
