best crispy shrimp tacos!
I fell in love with Chili's crispy shrimp tacos and the absolute flavor explosion they imposed. These are hands down, a crowd pleaser and easy to make!

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined (the larger the better!)
- 2 - tomatoes
- 1/2 - onion, vidalia, peeled
- 1 can pineapple tidbits
- 1 jar jalapeno peppers
- 1 cup mexican blend shredded cheese
- 1 bottle hidden valley ranch
- 1 bottle honey chipotle bbq sauce (i used sweet baby ray's)
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 cups cultured buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt and pepper (flour mix)
- 1 package flour tortillas
- - vegetable oil for cooking
How To Make best crispy shrimp tacos!

Step 1Preheat oil in deep fryer or pan to about 375 degrees

Step 2Peel and devein shrimp. Dip in buttermilk, then flour, then back in buttermilk and one more time in flour (two coats).

Step 3Place battered shrimp hot oil until golden, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4While shrimp is cooking, dice tomatoes and onion, then combine with pineapple tidbits to make your salsa.

Step 5Remove shrimp from grease and set on paper towel to absorb extra grease.

Step 6Warm tortillas in microwave for about 20 seconds. Place shredded cheese in the bottom of the taco, then about three shrimp on top, drizzle a line of ranch, a line of BBQ sauce on top of the shrimp, a good spoonful of the pineapple salsa mix, jalapeños and lettuce. Voila! Enjoy!
