Ingredients
- 1 - whole wheat sandwhich thin, processed into crumbs
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 - zest of 1 lemon
- 1 pound cod fish fillets
How To Make baked cod with lemon scented bread crumbs

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and spray a glass baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Place fish in baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top evenly with bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 2Sauté bread crumbs in butter over medium heat until lightly browned.

Step 3Remove from heat and add salt, pepper, parsley, and lemon zest.

Step 4Place fish in baking dish. Top evenly with bread crumb mixture and bake in pre heated oven for 20 minutes.
