3-4 largeskinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 Tbspdried oregano
2 tspminced garlic
2 cchicken stock
3-4 Tbsplemon juice
2 Tbspolive oil
How to Make Slow Cooker Greek Chicken and Gravy
- Coat chicken breasts with oregano. Rub into chicken well.
- In a large skillet, add oil and heat until hot.
Add chicken and brown well. Remove to slow cooker.
- In same skillet add, stock, garlic and lemon juice. Stir around until it comes to a boil.
Add juice to slow cooker over chicken.
- Cover and turn slow cooker on low for 4 hours. Remove the chicken to a plate.
Turn slow cooker up to high and thicken juice with flour and water or Wondra. Return chicken to slow cooker and cook for a half hour.
Serve over rice.
