Slow-cooked, spicy-n-saucy drumsticks
- 4 large
- chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 c
- bottled, favorite picante sauce
- 4 tsp
- frank's red hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp
- 1/4 tsp
- dried thyme
- 2 tsp
- canola or vegetable oil
How to Make Slow-cooked, spicy-n-saucy drumsticks
- 1Lightly spray a 3-1/2 quart slow-cooker w/ cooking spray. Place chicken in bpottom of cooker. In bowl, whisk together picante sauce, hot sauce, paprika, thyme and bay leaf.
- 2Pour sauce over chicken. Cover, cook on low for 6 hrs, or on high for 3 hrs. Transfer chicken to a lg bowl. Remove bayleaf. Stir in oil. Spoon sauce over chicken.
