Very simple but full of flavor chicken drumsticks. They can be served as an appetizer or a main dish, maybe w/ some spicy cajun or spanish rice? You can always add more hot sauce to make it spicier!

Ingredients

4 large
chicken drumsticks
1/2 c
bottled, favorite picante sauce
4 tsp
frank's red hot sauce
1/2 tsp
paprika
1/4 tsp
dried thyme
1
bayleaf
2 tsp
canola or vegetable oil

How to Make Slow-cooked, spicy-n-saucy drumsticks

Step-by-Step

  • 1Lightly spray a 3-1/2 quart slow-cooker w/ cooking spray. Place chicken in bpottom of cooker. In bowl, whisk together picante sauce, hot sauce, paprika, thyme and bay leaf.
  • 2Pour sauce over chicken. Cover, cook on low for 6 hrs, or on high for 3 hrs. Transfer chicken to a lg bowl. Remove bayleaf. Stir in oil. Spoon sauce over chicken.
