Ingredients

  • 2 pounds bonelss, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup favorite salsa
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes w/ chiles
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasonings
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup scallions, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons light sour cream

How To Make slow-cooked chicken salsa

  • Step 1
    Place chicken in bottom of cooker. Sprinkle w/ taco seasoning. Layer w/ veggies.
  • Step 2
    Pour water over all, cover, cook on low for 6-8 hrs. Shred chicken w/ a fork, put back into cooker. Stir in sour cream and heat through, then serve.
