Ingredients

2 lb
bonelss, skinless chicken breasts
1 c
favorite salsa
1 c
canned diced tomatoes w/ chiles
2 Tbsp
taco seasonings
1/2 c
water
1 c
diced onion
1/2 c
diced celery
1/2 c
scallions, thinly sliced
3 Tbsp
light sour cream

How to Make Slow-cooked chicken salsa

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place chicken in bottom of cooker. Sprinkle w/ taco seasoning. Layer w/ veggies.
  • 2Pour water over all, cover, cook on low for 6-8 hrs. Shred chicken w/ a fork, put back into cooker. Stir in sour cream and heat through, then serve.
