- bay leaves, dried
- lemon, thinly sliced
- whole peppercorns
How to Make Simple Poached Chicken
- 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine broth and water. Put chicken in a 13x9 casserole pan. Pour broth and water over chicken. Add bay leaves and peppercorns to liquid. Place sliced lemons on top of chicken.
- 2Cover with foil. Bake for 35 mins or until chicken is no longer pink inside.
- 3Shred, cube , julienne or leave whole. Put in baggies to use in next few days or freeze for future use.
