This is a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fried chicken. I freely admit that I seldom cook healthy foods at least not on purpose! But if something's good its good, and this is! Whether you're trying to cut fat & calories or just want an easy alternative to fried chicken! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 8 - assorted pieces of chicken, skinned
  • 2 cups Corn Flake crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk (can sub regular milk)

How To Make oven fried chicken

  • Step 1
    Combine Corn Flake crumbs and seasonings in a plastic bag, mixing well.
  • Step 2
    Dip chicken pieces in milk and roll in crumb mixture, shaking to coat.
  • Step 3
    Place chicken on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray; bake, uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
