Ingredients
- 200 grams chicken breast cut in cubes
- 1 medium egg white
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- - salt to taste
- - black pepper
- FOR THE SAUCE
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce, low sodium
- - juice of 1 orange
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger minced
- FOR THE STARCH
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 4 tablespoons water
How To Make orange chicken - low calorie

Step 1Mix chicken with egg white, flour, corn starch, salt, and black pepper. Keep aside.

Step 2Mix the sauce ingredients together and keep aside.

Step 3Mix the starch ingredients together and keep aside.

Step 4Add two teaspoons oil in a medium pan, when hot add the chicken, and fry for 3 minutes on high. Turn off heat and immediately cover tightly with a lid and keep a side. The chicken will continue cooking and will stay tender.

Step 5In a pan add the sauce mixture and let it come to a boil, and then add the green onion.

Step 6Stir in the cornstarch mixture, when thick add the chicken, and let it cook on medium low heat for two minutes.

Step 7Serve immediately.
