We eat a lot of chicken and I wanted something different so I came up with this sauce to put on my spicy chicken and it took the taste of the chicken to a whole new level. My husband loved it, I will be using it on other meats also.

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This sauce is sooo good. It was really yummy on chicken, but I bet it would be great with a quesadilla or chips. The spices were just right for me. If it's too spicy for you, just adjust to suit your taste buds!


avocados, scooped out and chopped
1 c
sour cream
3 Tbsp
lime juice
1 1/2
chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, choppped
1/2 pkg
dry ranch dressing
2 Tbsp
dijon mustard
2 tsp
minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
boneless chicken breast
salt and pepper to taste
tony chachere's more spice seasoning, or seasoning of your choice
4 Tbsp
olive oil, enough to sear chicken


1For sauce: In blender or food processor add avocados, sour cream, lime juice, chipotle, ranch, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Blend well. For chicken: Salt and pepper chicken and sprinkle with seasoning. Sear chicken in olive oil until done. Serve sauce on top of chicken.
