Ingredients

  • - flour for dredging
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, dried
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • - juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 pound thin sliced chicken cutletss

How To Make honey lemon chicken

  • Step 1
    in a bowl add about 1/2cup of flour and mix in the dried herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix , place washed chicken cutlets one at a time in the flour and coat on both sides, in a skillet add the butter and the ex virgin olive oil and cook chicken cutlets in batches and put aside in a plate
  • Step 2
    When all chicken cutlets are cooked use the same skillet and add in the white wine, honey and lemon juice and stir on medium heat for about 2 mins, add the chicken cutlets back in to the lemon honey mixture and simmer on low for about 15 mins until sauce thickens .
  • Step 3
    Turn off skillet and enjoy!
