Ingredients

  • ·
    flour for dredging
  • 1 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 c
    white wine
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 Tbsp
    unsalted butter
  • 1 lb
    thin sliced chicken cutletss

How to Make Honey lemon chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. in a bowl add about 1/2cup of flour and mix in the dried herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix , place washed chicken cutlets one at a time in the flour and coat on both sides, in a skillet add the butter and the ex virgin olive oil and cook chicken cutlets in batches and put aside in a plate
  2. When all chicken cutlets are cooked use the same skillet and add in the white wine, honey and lemon juice and stir on medium heat for about 2 mins, add the chicken cutlets back in to the lemon honey mixture and simmer on low for about 15 mins until sauce thickens .
  3. Turn off skillet and enjoy!
