heavenly hamburger
This was a staple when my mom was dieting, as it's an OLD Weight Watcher's recipe ... doesn't taste like diet food tho'. I have found that it is vastly adaptable as I have also made it with ground turkey, ground chicken, cubed chicken and just a variety of seasonal veggies. As long as you have the basics, be creative.

Ingredients
- 1/2 package egg noodles
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup small yellow onion, diced
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 1 pound lean ground beef (90/10 or better)
- 1x14.5 ounce canned diced tomatos, with liquid
- 4 slices american cheese slices
- to taste - salt & pepper
How To Make heavenly hamburger

Step 1Cook noodles as per package directions

Step 2While waiting for noodles, lightly sauté onions & celery in water, 2-3 minutes (not quite tender crisp)

Step 3Add ground beef and cook until done

Step 4Add diced tomatoes, with liquid. Reduce heat and simmer (until noodles are done.)

Step 5Drain noodles and add to meat mixture, stirring in completely.

Step 6Place cheese slices on top. Cover until melted. Stir and serve.
