i made this oven fried chicken recipe,with a pinch a greek flavor,i use it with greek yogurt and feta cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups plain greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons seasoned pepper,divided
  • 4 - skinless,boneless,chicken thighs
  • 4 - skinless,boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 - skinless chicken drumsticks

How To Make greek-style oven fried chicken

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Combine greek yogurt,dijon mustard,feta cheese and black pepper in a medium bowl,whisk together until smooth.In another medium bowl,combine bread crumbs,saltine cracker crumbs, parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons seasoned pepper,mix well.
  • Step 3
    Season chicken pieces with remaining seasoned pepper,then dip them with yogurt mixture,after that put them into crumb mixture to coat.
  • Step 4
    Place coated chicken pieces into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/4 hours,or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
