This is a sweet and spicy Salsa made with cherries. It is great paired with Tortilla chips. You can also use it on top of chicken or fish. Fresh and flavorful as a Summer time appetizer. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    pitted sweet cherries stems removed
  • 1/2
    green bell pepper diced
  • 1 clove
    chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    chopped cilantro (optional)
  • 1- 1 1/2 Tbsp
    franks red hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 3-4
    green onions diced
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried basil or 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped

How to Make Easy Spicy Cherry Salsa Nor's

Step-by-Step

  1. Remove pits from cherries,and place and pulse in food processor until diced but still chunky looking.
  2. Empty cherries in to a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients,and mix well. Let sit in fridge at least an hour before serving.
    Serve with Tostito's tortilla chips,or top fish and chicken with salsa before serving.
