green onion chopped
jalapeno minced
shallot chopped
3/4 c
soy sauce
1/2 c
white vinegar
1/4 c
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
chopped fresh thyme
1/2 tsp
ground cloves
1/2 tsp
ground allspice
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1 1/2 lb
chicken pieces
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
kiwi chopped
1/4 c
lime juice

How to Make Easy Jerk Chicken


  • 1In a food processor or blender, combine the green onions, onion, jalapeno pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, thyme, cloves, nutmeg and allspice. Mix for about 15 seconds. Add kiwi, lime juice and garlic
  • 2Place the chicken in a medium bowl, and coat with the marinade. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, or overnight
  • 3Preheat grill for high heat.
  • 4Lightly oil grill grate. Cook chicken on the prepared grill 6 to 8 minutes, until juices run clear
