Take that plain chicken sandwich to the next level using my marinade and a grill! NOTE: This recipe is a reduced fat and sodium, not necessarily low one. For lower fat use a minimal amount of olive oil in the marinade, and 2% cheese.

Ingredients

  • - **boneless, skinless, chicken breasts or thighs
  • - **my marinade-see link
  • - **red, yellow, orange bells peppers-your choice
  • - **sliced onion
  • - **cheese of choice
  • - **condiment of choice
  • - **toasted buns

How To Make deluxe grilled chicken sandwich

  • Step 1

  • Step 2
    Try to marinade your chicken several hours if possible up to overnight.
  • Step 3
    Grill chicken on indoor or outdoor grill till done.
  • Step 4
    Grill veggies and onion slices till just slightly tender but still have a bite for best results.
  • Step 5
    The last few minutes of cooking chicken place grated cheese and veggies on top of chicken. Add condiment of choice.
  • Step 6
    I use Uncle Gary's Spicy Red Pepper Spread, delicious.
