Ingredients

  • 4 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices proscuitto ham
  • 4 slices baby swiss cheese (or your favorite)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

How To Make chicken cordon bleu casserole (sallye)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350º Lightly grease 9" x 13" baking dish Place chicken breasts between 2 pieces of waxed or parchment paper and pound with mallet (or edge of plate) until tender
  • Step 2
    Place chicken breasts in bottom of baking dish Top each piece of chicken with a slice of ham, then a slice of cheese.
  • Step 3
    Stir together cream of chicken soup and wine Spoon over chicken pieces
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle stuffing mix over chicken pieces Drizzle melted butter evenly over top,
  • Step 5
    Cook uncovered in preheated oven for 1 hour or until chicken juices run clear when pierced with fork and top of dish is nice and crusty.
