cheesy italian chicken casserole
I wanted to try a new chicken recipe. I'm tired of the same old chicken recipe so I created this one. I loved it & so did my husband. I loved it because it's new & creative & my husband loved it for the same ways I did & because he loves my cooking no matter what I make.

Ingredients
- 4 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/3 cups chicken broth, low salt
- 3/4 cup brown rice, raw
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/4 cans mixed vegetables
How To Make cheesy italian chicken casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Stir the soup, broth, rice, seasonings & veggies in a 13x9 baking dish.

Step 2Top with the chicken & cheese. Season as desired. I used black pepper & Italian seasoning. Cover with aluminum foil.

Step 3Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through & the rice is tender.

Step 4Preheat broiler to 525. Place casserole under broiler & let broil 5 minutes or until cheese is browned.

Step 5Remove from oven & let stand 10 minutes. Stir the rice. Serve
